BEACHWOOD RESIDENCE

SML helped restore and expand a classic mid century modern home with a spectacular view overlooking Beachwood Canyon and the Hollywood sign.
The renovation was centered around opening up the upper floor of the residence to showcase the existing clerestory windows set between roof joists. This spacious living space opens fully on one side to views of Beachwood Canyon with the Hollywood sign above.
Below, a crawl space area was excavated to provide two new bathrooms, a laundry, and two new bedrooms with exquisite views of the Hollywood hillside.
